You know how life just takes over and the next thing you know you’re a million Jeremy Bearimys into the future (The Good Place reference) and guess what ? It’ll be 2022 in a flash.
Oh gosh, I have had to stop updating this for a month plus or so and I feel like I’ve failed you all. But, I’d like to stand on the right side of a cloudy day! The part where it’s not raining.
I remember the first time I saw this strange phenomenon. I was about 10 years old and I looked outside my flat window to the carpark and there it was, the downpour. The hot and dry asphalt being washed away of it’s grease and dirt by the rain and the trees were rejoicing cos it’s been quite a hot summer that month. You could just tell they were rejoicing. Then I looked over to the other side of the carpark and it’s super super dry. I was in awe that I could be wet and dry all at the same time. To me it was a miracle.
The whole point of sharing this is, there’s always two sides of everything. And life will give you both lemons and lemonade. The beauty of it is, whether it was raining cats and dogs or a bright sunny day or an overcast, there’s always an upside of being in both situations. We just have to look at it in a different perspective, well at least we want to haha.
It has been quite a stormy rainy weather where I’m standing and I can do nothing about it except run with it and brave the rain. I have to. I do my best to bring a brolly or put on a pair of knee-high Kensington boots when I leave home but sometimes, you’re still rained on.
Oh well, at least I’m still alive and breathing and I can say that I’ve danced in the rain.
